I would like to take this opportunity to extend to you a very warm welcome to the City of Crestview and tell you a little about our community.
Our community has enjoyed a constant steady growth for many years now. This year is no different. In fact, there are thousands of new homes being built here and several new apartment complexes ready to welcome you. Also, with the military installations being so near, the sales of existing homes is steady. Amid this expansion, businesses are pouring in to the area bringing new jobs, services, retails and markets.
Even amongst all the growth Crestview has been able to maintain its small town charm.
Many people describe our community as friendly, caring and safe. In fact, we are known to have one of the lowest crime rates in the state ofFlorida. Our school system resides in a county that has been recognized as one of the best in the state for the past two years. We have a sense of community and provide for our families, youth and the elderly.
For close to fifty years, thousands of businesses and community leaders, as members of the chamber, have given of themselves to make this community what it has become today; a beautiful, bustling place we like to call home. What a splendid gift they have given us!
